1981 Canada pressing
A compilation that was only released in Canada, & a perfect Saturday record.
“Underpass” will forever be Foxx’s signature song, but many other great cuts here, like “Mr. No”, “Miles Away” “Metal Beat” which is also the label that ONLY released John Foxx records, owned by Virgin.
John Foxx is criminally underrated. ULTRAVOX are clearly great, but his solo stuff deserves more praise.

To compare. Left is The Test on the singles compo along with 2 other tracks at 33 and right is The Test at 45rpm taking up the entire side. Smashes it for quality and has slam in the bass the 33 doesn't have
