#fingerprinting

Andre her der deltager?

Booted Kali Linux, opened Firefox… and boom: Amazon, Groupon, Allegro on the homepage 😳
Apparently my penetration testing OS wants me to buy a lawnmower before scanning ports.

Cross-site tracking + IP matching + sponsored tabs = welcome to the panopticon.

Thanks, Firefox, very stealthy.

#Psylo #browser takes aim at digital #fingerprinting • The Register

Gotta keep 'em separated so the #marketers and #snoops can't come out and play

Psylo, which bills itself as a new kind of private web browser, debuted last Tuesday in Apple's App Store, one day ahead of a report warning about the widespread use of browser fingerprinting for #ad #tracking and #targeting.

It was a fortuitous coincidence.

The Register · Psylo browser tries to obscure digital fingerprints by giving every tab its own IP addressBy Thomas Claburn

Scientific study finds that #adtech IS using browser #fingerprinting to track people and so it no longer matters so much how good you are at blocking #cookies and #trackers 😒

They call on browser makers to do more. @jon is your team putting effort into this area?

@johnnyryan I suggest this area is added to your investigations since it is linked to the #RTB system and #databrokers 🙏
