🚀 Wow, a DDoS attack so monstrous it could fuel a small nation’s internet dreams! 🌐 Apparently, 7.3Tbps of "junk traffic" is the new gold standard for attention-seeking. 🤯 Meanwhile, Ars Technica continues to be shocked by the predictable inevitability of the future. 📉

Ars Technica · Record DDoS pummels site with once-unimaginable 7.3Tbps of junk trafficBy Dan Goodin

The EU has launched DNS4EU, its own DNS resolver aimed at boosting digital sovereignty, privacy, and cybersecurity 🇪🇺🔒.

Voluntary and developed with ENISA, it includes filters for malware, ads, and adult content—but privacy experts warn of risks like content filtering, data logging, and potential government overreach ⚠️.

Ah, DNSSEC—the digital equivalent of locking the barn door after the data has bolted 🐎🔒. Who knew securing a system designed with all the foresight of a toddler with a crayon could be so "urgent"? 😂 Clearly, the internet was built on trust, much like a pyramid scheme but with fewer yachts. 🛥️

Oh, look! #Europe finally created its own fancy #DNS 😲, as if we weren't already drowning in #privacy policies and security claims. Now you can bask in "sovereign" DNS joy 😏 while trying to configure it on every device imaginable, because nothing says "safe internet" like a cumbersome setup process. 🌍🔐

Hah.
Fuckbonk suspended my account.

What did I do? Set up an anonymous profile with their own account tool and installed security software on my computer to block their spyware/tracking.

Am I going to try and "fix the issue"? Nah. Waste of time.

..also note where I put the arrows. Their own images were blocked for tracking.

Funny they dont like that, aint it.

"A data broker owned by the country’s major airlines, including Delta, American Airlines, and United, collected U.S. travellers’ domestic flight records, sold access to them to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and then as part of the contract told CBP to not reveal where the data came from"
