Going to have a conversation with a CEO later today that I'm not looking forward to. It seems very clear that they view their company as a gift to mortals from their god-like hands, but that's clearly not the case. Ivory tower meets harsh reality incoming....

All of this based off of email exchanges with another consultant that wanted to bring me in to chat about security and pentesting. Oh, and they insisted on an NDA, which took nearly a week for them to countersign.

What they wanted to talk about during this call falls under billable hours, but they want free advice. I've given my free hour to their consultant already, and his comprehension clearly wasn't great based on his notes. I did say I'll speak at a high level but no more than that. Let's see how the call actually goes when they realize they're not getting anything for free. #knowyourworth
