Es ist zum Auswachsen!
Ich habe mir Alexa ursprünglich zugelegt, um in der Wohnung leichter die Lichter bedienen zu können, wenn ich beide Hände voll habe, und per Multi-Room-Funktion überall dasselbe Radio zu hören.
Inzwischen schalte ich die Lichter doch per App auf dem Smartphone, weil ich da genauer die Helligkeit einstellen kann, die ich gerade brauche. Noch dazu macht die Lautstärke, was sie will.
Plus: die Multi-Room-Funktion lässt seit Monaten …
@ernie, hate to cold @ you, but, are you following this #sengLED smart light bulb fiasco? No one seems to be writing about it. Not the tech publications that promote sengled... no one. It's been days and people can't get their lightbulbs to work, esp if they were dimmed at night when they stopped working.
After a bunch of complaints to their main seller, #Amazon, Amazon finally released a statement to people that have them linked to one of their appliances. I suspect Amazon just wants to stop fielding calls about them, although they are still selling products that can't work now or be setup. #GoogleHome #iot #Alexa #homeAutomation #google #home

@Mumonkan I know the trade war has left them unable to pay 1000 Chinese employees there and there is a big protest about it.
" Employees at Sengled Optoelectronics say the company has failed to pay their wages for three consecutive months, which prompted protesters to march to the local town hall to demand a resolution on April 29.
A Sengled employee confirmed the protest in a telephone interview with The Epoch Times on April 30. “Over a thousand of us went to the town hall to protest,” the worker said. “Employees’ wages haven’t been paid for half a year.”
“Over a dozen people were arrested,” he said. "The company owes wages to over 1,000 full-time workers. We are all entitled to full benefits—pensions, retirement funds, unemployment insurance. The amount they owe is huge, but they haven’t given us any explanation."
The worker said that the factory owner owes the government a great deal of money and the “factory should’ve shut down long ago.”

Lange hat es gedauert, aber ich habe vermutlich eine Lösung gefunden, wie man die Werbung, die Amazon seit gut einem Jahr ungefragt auf ihre EchoShow-Systeme ausspielt, unterbindet. Und bevor irgend ein Naseweis meint, das könne man doch in den Einstellungen ausschalten, sei diesem Naseweis gesagt: Hoecker, Sie sind raus!
OK. Man muss die folgenden Adressen, z.B. in der Fritzbox in der Liste gesperrter Internetseiten, unterbinden:

Fertig. Keine Zwangs-Werbung mehr. Kollateralschäden hab ich keine bemerkt.
Aber es ändert nichts an der Tatsache, dass es eine maximale Frechheit von Amazon ist, ungefragt, ohne Vertragsbasis und dann auch noch ohne Gewinnbeteiligung Werbung auszuspielen.
Es reicht, wie die mit ihren Diensten dem Konsumenten Dinge aufzwingen bzw. aufzwingen wollen.
Mich nervt z.B. dass Amazon Music, wenn ich einen Song auswähle, dann meint zu wissen, was ich danach hören will und einfach abspielt. AMZON DU DRECKSBRATZE! NICHTS! ICH WILL NUR DEN EINEN SONG!
Und Alexa wird auch immer nerviger. Ich hasse es, wenn Technik versucht zu raten, was ich als nächstes will. Nein, ich will den Beamer nicht in einer Routine immer Mittwochs bei Sonnenuntergang nur gedimmt einschalten! Du verblödete Dummtorte.
