Just fixed an issue where cataloging #Sony ARW files could be really really slow for the giant 60 MB files from the Sony A1 "ILCE-1".

With better tuned imaging processing code, we were able to speed up this up by a factor of 50!

This is the last in my set of (Pentacon Six/ Kiev-60 mount) #Zeiss lenses, a wide f4 50mm lens. It arrived from Hungary but broken. The seller agreed w/ my idea to repair it locally, but I couldn't find anyone to do so. He'll repair the #aperture & ship back at his cost, so my original purchase price remains the same, yay. I'm especially looking forward because the other #lenses are too long w/ the adapter on my 35mm #camera, so this #fisheye will work better.

Did you know that you can search for #photos taken at the same time (hour and minute), not just the same date, in #NeoFinder for #macOS? This uses the #EXIF Capture Date.

Now that is a circular aperture, which makes very nice round bokeh even when stopped down a bit, and also makes many-pointed sunstars from highlights in the frame.

I don't use this lens often, as it requires two adapters, is big and heavy, and has a fully manual aperture (with pre-selection ring to create a mechanical stop at the selected "f-stop", so you can focus fully open) and heavy but smooth manual focus.

Bonus points if you know which make and model this is.
