Before my body broke down and gave up, Pulau Jong welcomed a crew of none sense to her flat, a ring of rubble surrounding a basin of crystal clear water, where giant hermit crabs, cheesecake slugs, miniature butterflyfish, squamose clams and spiny swimming crabs lurk in plain sight and out of reach, making the most of the golden hour and showing but a sliver of the secrets of an isle of djoy.
