#flickr archive post of the day: more of a collage than a photo, an overview of all the cell phones I had owned up to that point (late 2011). After the S2, I kept switching between #Android (Pixel) and #iPhone until about 4 years ago when I got the my iPhone 12 and haven't looked back since. I always keep an eye on the #Pixel line-up, usually well-made phones, a good value, free of bloatware and supported for a long time.

Flickr was my first real 'social web' experience. I met lifelong friends through #flickr and, through one of those friends, my now wife.

This is the first picture I took after we moved to Salt Lake City from Amsterdam. I was doing a lot of exploring #SaltLakeCity on foot and by transit. We didn't have a car and I didn't have a bike yet either.
I believe this is the Governor's Mansion on South Temple. It is close to our first apartment in the Avenues historic district.

I ditched Joomla and WordPress in favour of home-brewed HTML (Small Web). Then, I decided that I needed something simpler with better organisation and went with the micro.blog. Now, in the interest of my sanity, I've decided to trim the whole thing down to the core function, the bits that I'm actually going to find the time to keep on top of. Mastodon and Flickr.
