After making #ElectronicMusic, in some form, and playing in a band that has been centered around a #sequencer of some sort for over 25 years, I finally got my first "#groovebox" sequencer of my own, a #Synthstrom #Deluge. I've had a lot of different things that can sequence _or_ sample _or_ create synth patches but nothing that can do it all-in-one.

today i made a few good steps towards reenabling it—as well as towards actual quantized launch (switching over to next phrase at the beginning of the next bar, like #ableton does, as opposed to immediately)

#Roland P-6 update: threw some 808 and 909 samples on it. Live recording and step sequencing are simple enough. The fact that every pot is a pot and not an encoder is a bit frustrating. I mean, they can't all be encoders, but the sample editing knobs are frustrating af, because if I tweak the volume of my kick for example, then go to tweak the volume of the snare, the moment I touch it, the snare jumps from w/e volume it was at to the position of the knob. (1 of ?)...
