#Amazon is under time pressure ⏱️. The license issued by the US regulatory authorities for the operation of #satellite internet in 2020 requires half of the satellite network to be completed by 📆 July 2026. The rest must be in orbit by July 2029 ⏳. More than 30 additional launches are planned with other companies, such as #Arianespace and #BlueOrigin. OneWeb is available and working, but their pricing isn't consumer friendly. If they can stop thinking like a legacy satellite provider and figure out how to get a 5x reduction in monthly price they'd clean up right now. Heck, if they need money to fund a reduction in material costs, now's the time to ask the market. But IMHO the Eutelsat OneWeb market positioning right now is really holding them back and it needs the arse ripped out of it.

#Kuiper needs to get it's constellation launched in time to be compliant with their license, which will be hard, but if they're aggressive (hey, it's #Bezos) then maybe they'll deliver in the next two years. And if it really is $400 for a terminal and the base subscription is $60-120/pm then it could do some damage.
