tried blowing out laptop with compressed air today - no amount of dust was expelled, ran kali linux, laptop died during booting, tried to run f12 diagnostics, it passed most tests but then died testing memory, invasive surgery may be the only option at this point, it may not be as bad as i think, the fan was running and it was blowing hot air but not much. disassembly and reassembly will take about an hour - it may just need new thermal grease and actually looking at parts to really dx issue #dell studio 1558 #overheating
