The lawfirms category shows dozens if not hundreds of resisters: apparently the majority, and a larger proportion than in any other category. By comparison, the corporations category shows only two resisters: Costco and Disney.

OK, Internet hivemind. I want to do a thing I've never actually done before. I want to create an archive of some #PublicDomain information, create a #torrent, and upload the torrent to a tracker.
I have no idea what #tracker to use or even how to find one. Help?
I currently operate a Transmission server that serves up copies of Linux Mint, Raspberry Pi OS, GNU Image Processor, LibreOffice, and some public domain books, but I got the torrents from other people. I've never made my own torrents.

#unplugtrump verfolge ich schon einige Jahre. Bislang als #Gafam freies Leben. Aber es wird immer schwerer. Jetzt habe ich ein #Deutschlandtixket von der DB und muss die doofe Schnüffelsoftware #DBNavigator benutzen. Die ist zwar nicht US based hat aber so viele #Tracker, dass einem schlecht wird. Kann ich des Ticket irgendwie in einer #FOSS APP speichern??? Mein Wallet nimmt den Link nicht an.
Achtung, bitte nicht weiterlesen, wenn Sie davon ausgehen, DNS würde für Desoxyribonukleinsäure stehen ... 
... sehr gut, sie haben es in den Beitrag geschafft und wissen also, dass DNS für Domain Name System steht. Genau das System, welches das Internet überhaupt erst ermöglicht, indem es all die wohlklingenden Namen wie Linkedin(.)de oder Stuttgart(.)de in IP-Adressen umwandelt. Gewissermaßen die technischen Wegweiser zu den Servern, auf denen sich die angeforderten Daten befinden.
Ich habe mir zuhause die Freude erlaubt, im Heimnetz einen eigenen DNS-Server aufzusetzen, der vor einer Abfrage an das "echte" DNS-System im Internet geschaltet wird und die korrekten technischen Daten nur dann an Computer oder Smartphone zurück liefert, wenn das was da gerade angefordert wird kein Tracker oder unerwünschte Werbung ist.
Und was ich da jetzt nach drei Tagen feststelle, ist schon ziemlich spannend
. Pro Tag produziert mein Heimnetzwerk 45.000 - 60.000 Anfragen an das DNS. Bei 7.500 bis 15.000 dieser Anfragen handelt es sich um Tracker, Werbung oder sonstige unerwünschte Dinge, die der neu aufgesetzte Server jetzt einkassiert. Nach drei Tagen von ca. 128.000 Anfragen bereits rund 25.000 Stück. 
Was läuft in Ihrem Heimnetzwerk so und wie viele Anfragen gehen dorthin, wo sie diese vielleicht gar nicht haben wollen?
