Dead or Alive “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” – RSD 2025
The ultimate hi-NRG dancefloor anthem, reborn for Record Store Day 2025! Massive synth hooks, Pete Burns’ unmistakable voice, and that infectious beat — pure 80s energy pressed on shiny new (picture disc) vinyl.
The soundtrack is fantastic. It includes a selection of songs (all performed by Val Kilmer himself) as well as highlights from the film score.
Great memories.
Rest in peace, Val Kilmer.

And this was what was in the post today. 25 years after its initial release, a new 12” version of Ya Mama by #FatboySlim
What a beautiful pressing the Jethro Tull is by the way. Summerday Sands has never sounded so good. #RSD #TheWho #JethroTull #vinyl #RSD2025
#RecordStoreDay2025 was pretty much a washout for me. No record store close by anymore and I only managed to nab these online: a Fat Boy Slim 12” - Ya Mama and an outrageously priced Art of Noise remix set of Moments in Love - Impressions of For+ever & The Making of Moments in Love.
#RSD2025
Yup it’s a Replacements kind of morning with the Ed Stasium Mix of Tim. Just released for RSD on translucent purple vinyl. Good Stuff!

Might have accidently bought one last #RSD2025 Release. 1 of 1 cover out of 1000 in the UK. I went for Black and Gold with ninjas on the back. 45rpm high grade Neotech compound.
Wu-Tang X Mathematics - Black Samson The Bastard Swordsman

Nu staat het zelfs in Heaven. Dan weet je dat het echt gebeurd is (ziet u: ik knijp me nog steeds in de armen).
Monday morning digging into my RSD haul. Public Issue (First Issue) by P.I.L. Apparently this a different mix that was shelved back whenever.

Just two for me this #RSD. No queuing for hours (I don’t do queuing) or stress involved.
Some live Judas Priest today, from their Screaming for Vengeance tour.

Album: Live In Atlanta ‘82 (2025)
Release: Original RSD vinyl pressing

Since I couldn't make it out yesterday, I'm happy to say I was able to snag the 3 Record Store Day releases I wanted on Discogs this morning without being price gouged.
The Veronicas, Celia Cruz & Willie Colon, and Craig Mack.
Almost forgot it was #RecordStoreDay but I went to a local shop and got Judas Priest-Live in Atlanta '82 on vinyl. Anything from Priest's Screaming For Vengeance era is the absolute best.
Doing some Kingsley representation for record store day this side of the pond
My Record Store Day haul. The record I wanted most ("Top Secret!" soundtrack) was not available by the time I got in but I got everything else on my list.
Mulligan Meets Monk (1957)
Black Sabbath: The Eternal Idol (1987)
Motörhead: The Löst Tapes Vol. 6 (Live in Berlin) (2024)
Dokken: Beast From The East (1988)
Judas Priest: Live In Atlanta ‘82 (2025)
Mötley Crüe: Smokin’ In The Boys Room/Home Sweet Home (1985)
My #rsd2025 haul for today. The only release I really wanted, *Gorillaz - Demon Days Live*, was already gone when I hit the stores.
And it seems the UK has its own list with releases not available in Germany? Was interested in the *Cimarons - On the Rock* as well but no one knew about this.
PSA it is possible to also buy normal records on RSD, instead of overpriced re-releases on colored vinyl.
