Finally got the Ayaneo Flip KB after seeling the Antec Core HS after the failed attempt to install Bazzite on it since it wasn't stable, it reboots randomly after being in a game for a while...
I decided to go for a Flip KB since an Air 1S with 32 GB and a 7840U is hard to find, so the Flip KB, in a clamshell design is what I found, and with 32 GB of RAM secondhand.
It's in good shape, and Bazzite works perfectly, even with sleep when closing the lid. Also, slightly thicker than the Win 4, but not as wide despite having a 7 inch screen. It's probably the best form factor for a portable handheld, unlike the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck is the worst form factor for me, too heavy, too bulky, and hurts my hands. This at least feels good enough and while denser, it's not too bad, similar to the GPD Win 4
Having 32 GB of RAM, allows me to set higher texture qualities, it can run Atelier Yumia at high settings at 30 fps with 18w TDP and XeSS set to balanced, and not too bad. At $700, it's not too bad, since it usually goes for $1100. $700 is what used ROG Ally X goes for.
Still not sure how an eGPU will perform, I don't think I can have the handheld do all the rendering on the external GPU and pipe it to the internal screen like in Windows 11 on Bazzite.
