In related news, Gen Alpha is going to have all sorts of pandemic-related repercussions in habit and temperament that the rest of us are going to look askance at in the next few decades. Since 11yo went back to in-person school in Feb. 2022, every teacher I've talked to has said that these kids are different.

It worried me for a while. Kiddo is now 11, and those habits have vanished.... But that's enough anecdotal evidence for me to agree with you 100%.

Lordess help me, my grandson and I were bonding over Skibidi Toilet this morning before school. He seems excited that I show an interest in his Gen Alph world.
