Got variant of "I need to find a book" and all I remember is "the book is blue." In this case, client just did not recall the author, but knew the book, so I was able to narrow things a bit to get the right translation; they wanted a specific translation.

On a side note: moments like this I miss the old days (I know, dark ages for you young whippersnappers) when there was a print phone directory for a campus. A tool I could use to quickly find a phone number or campus address of a person, etc.
