Does anyone know of a Opensource project that is likely to be a replacement for AutoCAD for the building/MEP industries? The only two that I know of are FreeCAD and LibreCAD. FreeCAD is parametric, and LibreCAD is still way too "new".
The only features they tout are: Free, GPLv2 OpenSource, "No Language Barriers"

Seriously, #AutoCad, please install without rolling back. Copying files shouldn't be that hard. 
Nicht nur Microsoft Office hat seine eigene wilde #Farbpalette, die sich auch immer Mal ändert [1], sondern auch die Oldschool #AutoCAD-Produkte [2]. Dort sind die Farben einfach durchnummeriert, sodass Übersetzungshilfe nötig ist. Ich habe das gebraucht um eine unternehmensinterne CAD-Layer-Vorgabe zu verstehen und in #Visio für ein technischen Schema umzusetzen.

My background: the only 3D platform I've ever worked with was Flash. I'm okayish with Photoshop/GIMP and Inkscape. Current employment uses proprietary layout/design software that is very simple drag and drop, but I'm looking to expand my ability.

I don't remember why but at one time I had an #Autodesk account. Perhaps #AutoCAD had a free version back then? Or a trial?
Anyway, last August I received an email from them for some reason so, since I wasn't using anything, I closed my account.
Today I received another email saying they're forcing me to "upgrade" from Single User Storage to Fusion Hub. It only costs CA$130. Per MONTH!!!
I logged in (my account was still active) and deleted it again.

Sarebbe bello creare qualcosina per divulgare l'Open Source, tipo le suite che possono sostituire il pacchetto Office, AutoCAD e le alternative alla suite di Google.
