"This argument is absurd!" - filled w/ dozens of exclamation marks, this federal judgement hammers the administration. I work at this law firm, so it's great to hear; the DOJ hasn't appealed in their similar losses (I've a friend at Perkins Coie, who also won), so things look good for us.

@isfies #unlike das sagt niemand. Wir, die freie Welt, hat das Recht sich zu verteidigen. Da das nicht mit Wattebäuschen geht, wird es dabei zu kollateralen Schäden kommen. Wenn wir und unsere Alliierten sich nicht verteidigen, dann haben wir zuerst keine Alliierten mehr und dann uns selber nicht mehr.

I don't think it's a matter of #optimistic vs. #pessimistic. It's that the #engineering, #infrastructure, #economics, #population, population #density, and #remoteness of #France are utterly #unlike what they are here in the #prairies.

2 years? Not possible here. If we wanted to replace 80% of ICE vehicles with BEVs, we need major electrical #generation and #transmission upgrades. I'm #guesstimating it it started today, it would take 20 years.
