This small wooden shack on poles was once built as a shelter for people who lost their way at sea, or for those whose boat was lost in the waves and washed ashore. Nowadays, when we all have GPS, it's a hiking destination more than anything else. Most people come here by horse carriage or 4x4, though. Not me. I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at sea and a warm golden hour at this wonderful location, all by myself.<br>

Oliver<p>After passing Lillehammer (remember the Winter Games 1994?) we encountered this site near Fåvang scaffolded in fog in the early morning. Still not knowing what "Rom" (city of Rome?) has to do with this, we didn't think further about the potential meaning of the painted letters. I built a 12V distribution box for my #Shack using old school 4mm labor banana plugs. Yes I could have used anderson poles but those plugs are cheaper and can technically hold the same current if your cable is thick enough.

After passing Lillehammer (remember the Winter Games 1994?) we encountered this site near Fåvang scaffolded in fog in the early morning. Still not knowing what "Rom" (city of Rome?) has to do with this, we didn't think further about the potential meaning of the painted letters. Great scenery anyway!
Later we discovered that it meant "Room" or "Room for rent" - but in this morning, it was somehow some kind of riddle...
