The "pandoc user's guide" Markdown file is part of the executable; it can be accessed by running

pandoc --print-default-data-file MANUAL.txt

Use

pandoc --print-default-data-file MANUAL.txt | pandoc …

to convert it to any pandoc-supported format. E.g., to read it in a terminal, try `--to=ansi`.

I read a post on here from someone who needs the alt text on images to be able to engage with posts. I've found the instructions to add alt text and it's not exactly great UI so it's possible posters are missing it. Here's the article: edtechfactotum.com/adding-alt-
You have to edit the image after selecting it.

@SpockResists Yes, I like the improved functionality of Mastodon compared to the bird site in audience customization, editing, graphics, and translation. Also, I'm not getting a lot of intrusive RW/AltRight posts and topics inserted into my timeline against my preferences like what's happening there.This user guide site helped me familiarize myself with all the Mastodon functions. (Link's to the Network topic, but the menu covers everything.)
