#TALER looks like an interesting payment system. However, as the recipient, I would definitely have to run my own server to install and configure the software. That's too risky for me at the moment. The expected benefits don't justify the necessary effort. But I'll keep an eye on it.
#TALER sieht nach einem interessanten Bezahlsystem aus. Ich als Empfänger müsste aber unbedingt einen eigenen Server dafür betreiben, um dann die Software zu installieren und einzurichten. Das ist mir derzeit zu heikel. Der zu erwartende Nutzen rechtfertigt den nötigen Aufwand auch nicht. Aber ich behalte es im Auge.
Registered for #Wero. Hope it becomes somewhat of a replacement for #Paypal in the long run, although the international quality (like, outside of Europe) will probably only be really satisfied by sth. like #Taler.
Anyway, anything *but* Paypal is already an improvement. Now we "just" need all banking apps to work outside of the god damn #Google ecosystem. Haha… ha… oh dear…

Weil ich gerade dabei bin einen #Onlineshop für einen Biohof zu planen:
Wie ist der Stand der Dinge, gibt es immer noch keine #Zahlungsanbieter, die einigermaßen #Privacy der Kund:innen achten? Was ist der datenschutzfreundlichste Kompromiss, ohne komplett auf einen Onlineverkauf verzichten zu müssen?

- Mollie
- Klarna
Sie alle klingen mir eher nicht vertrausenswürdig und ich habe leider bei allen bezüglich privacy nur negatives gehört. Nur was kann man tun? Wer ist das kleinste Übel? habt Ihr Alternativen?
Ich würde mich über Tips, Hinweise und Boosts freuen.
PS: es wird höchste Zeit, dass endlich der #Taler Realität wird!

@blitter Solange die #taler-Instanz nicht an SEPA angedockt ist und nur einem "geschlossenen Benutzerkreis" (Event, Regio, Gamification usw) dient, unterliegt sie nicht der BAFIN (Bankenaufsicht).
Für die Nutzung als Verrechnungssystem z.B. für Tausch-Initiativen zur #Bezahlkarten-Problematik gibt es AFAIK noch keine Rechtsgutachten, aber sogar konservative bayr. Staatsanwaltschaften (München/Regensburg) sehen keine rechtliche Bedenken. Es gilt das Bürgerrecht der Vertragsfreiheit. Nutze es. ;)

@WeirdWriter doesn't this have the same solution as mail spam? With an easy and fast way of payment like #taler #gnutaler make it cost something to report, just a small sum, that can be paid back easily, if it is legitimate. As long as you don't make multiple bogus spam reports the risk to lose money will outweigh the usefulness, but spam will get pricey.
Sadly we don't have this fast easy and open payment service yet. I hope I will see some banks using it soon.

Die Idee ist, dass man mit Geld zahlt welches sagt, der Besitzer ist min x Jahre alt. Klar kann auch umgangen werden, jedoch müssen Menschen nicht vor Allem geschützt werden, indem man sie heraushält.

et une réponse rapide pourrait être "ça peut être implémenté" dans le système de payement ... c'est une question d''application qui gère in-out les communication de payement, ràv avec le système de création/validation des token qui est le soucis de base re btc àmha justement (et soutiens le reste)
y'a un projet #taler pour faire l’intermédiaire entre des trucs ...à voir sans doute ;)
